Every holiday, I fawn over the wreaths at Target. Yet I never buy any. I just wipe the drool off of my face and carry on.
But this year, I WANT an Easter wreath for my door and to decorate my house in fluffy bunnies and pastel colored eggs and other Easter friendly wares.
And for pennies.
So what’s a girl to do?
Make my own wreath and fawn no more! And invite a few friends to do the same.
Easter Wreath Design Challenge
Five of us accepted the challenge: to design a wreath for Easter using materials we already have at home, from the dollar store and/or the thrift shop. And for $10 or less.
Meet your makers:
- Yours truly 🙂
- Sara Kaufer over at Shabby Grace Blog (she’s being doing DIYs on the regular!)
- The very talented Liz Tillander who’s been flipping furniture and other finds
- My cousin, Amanda Gemmill
- My mom, Debra Rushlow (her and my cousin both find projects and create stunning knock offs)
I will post our finished projects including a DIY on Tuesday, March 8th. Feel free to join us and post your creations on our Facebook page!
Let the wreath making begin!
